AND NORTHEASTERN HARRIS COUNTIES UNTIL 1045 AM CDT...
At 945 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Votaw to 7 miles northeast
of Montgomery. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Conroe, Humble, Liberty, Cleveland, Dayton, Willis, Livingston,
Northside / Northline, Kingwood, The Woodlands, Greater Greenspoint,
Spring, Aldine, Barrett, northern Greater Heights, Near Northside
Houston, Crosby, northwestern Mont Belvieu, Oak Ridge North and
Shepherd.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
