Man Charged with Receiving Stolen Property
South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond J. Hayducka announced the arrest of a Monmouth Junction man for receiving stolen property. Detectives conducted an investigation of several teenage juveniles, all from Monmouth Junction, who were shoplifting at local businesses over the past three months. The local businesses estimated the value of the stolen property was over $1,000 during that time period. Detectives discovered some of the stolen property was later purchased by John Jackson, 51 years old of Monmouth Junction. Mr. Jackson was also linked to driving the juveniles to a local business in June and later purchasing stolen merchandise from one of the juveniles. Mr. Jackson was charged with receiving stolen property and released pending his first court appearance. Three of the juveniles involved were also issued complaints for shoplifting.
