Crime incident summary from Dec 24-28, 2009 from the Patrol Division. Please note this is not a comprehensive list of incidents. It is a snapshot of incidents that may be relevant to your neighborhood.



ARDEN HILLS

Theft from Auto – Cub Foods, 37xx Lexington – between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. 12/24. Employee’s car broken into.

Dog Bite – 45xx Arden View Drive – 8 a.m. 12/23. Woman picked up her 15-lb. dog as she passed the other dog, broke his leash and bit woman on her arm. Woman had to get ten stitches.

LITTLE CANADA

Home Burglary – 23xx Dianna Lane – 4:45 p.m. 12/24. Forced entry through glass window of front door. Not immediately known if anything taken. Suspect is a W/F, 5’8, 135 lbs, dark hair, wearing jeans. Fled in Chevy Impala driven by a W/M.

Office Burglary – LPL Financial, 32xx22 Rice Street – 11 p.m. 12/24. Forced entry through rear window. Not immediately known if anything taken.

Theft – Marathon gas station, 30xx Rice Street – between 10 p.m. 12/23 and 7 a.m. 12/24. Eleven propane tanks stolen.

Theft – Aldi Foods, 23xx Rice Street – 4 p.m. 12/24. Two Leapfrog computer toys and two ice scrapers stolen. Suspects = 1 B/M and 2 B/Fs.

Theft – 3xx Labore – between 5 p.m. 12/24 and 3 p.m. 12/26. Check card and $50 cash stolen.

Assault – Hoggsbreath Bar, 25xx Rice Street – 2 a.m. 12/24. Two men arrested for assault after they hit another man in mouth with a bar glass. Victim lost several teeth and sustained laceration to mouth.


NORTH OAKS

Harassment – xx Buffalo Road – between 12/19 and 12/26. Pastor harassed by people upset about funeral arrangements of their relative. Victim received harassing phone calls at home and church.

SHOREVIEW

Home Burglary – 5xx Kent Lane – between 2:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. 12/25. Forced entry, with front door kicked in. Jewelry, valued at $15,800, stolen.


VADNAIS HEIGHTS

Theft from Auto – 9xx County Road D – between 7:15 a.m. and 8 p.m. 12/25. Driver’s door lock tampered with. Steering column cracked. Two black Carhart work jackets and bib overalls stolen.

Theft – Festival Foods, 9xx County Road E – 7:30 p.m. 12/26. Quick change con man tricked clerk out of $50. Suspect sent theft citation in mail.

Criminal Damage to Property – 33xx Labore Road – 4 p.m. 12/23. Hasp broken off semi trailer. Nothing missing.

Criminal Damage to Property – 32xx Marble Street – between 4:30 p.m. 12/24 and 10 a.m. 12/25. Two screen windows damaged, third screen window missing, and rear deck screen door pushed open. Nothing missing.

Sexual Assault – 42xx Evergreen Drive – between midnight and 6 a.m. 12/27. Suspect of assault is known to victim. Laptop also taken.

WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP

Vulnerable Adult – 54xx Bald Eagle Boulevard – 5 p.m. 12/27. Suicidal man taken to hospital. Guns removed from home.

Vulnerable Adult – 26xx Bartylia Court – 3:30 p.m. 12/27. Suicidal man taken to hospital. Gun removed from home.


OTHER SUBURBAN COMMUNITIES

Burglary Suspect Arrested – Long Lake Regional Park, 15xx00 Old Hwy 8, New Brighton – 2 a.m. 12/24. Ramsey County Sheriff’s deputies & K-9 partner Cody assisted Anoka County Sheriffs, Fridley Police, and New Brighton Police in tracking a fleeing burglary suspect. Suspect was apprehended.
