The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM CDT this morning. The advisory includes southern Illinois along and north of a line from Carbondale to Marion and Harrisburg, as well as Perry County Missouri.

* VISIBILITY...Below one quarter mile in numerous locations.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be hazardous in many areas due to restricted visibility. The early morning commute to work will be directly affected.

* AFFECTED AREAS: JEFFERSON ... FRANKLIN ... HAMILTON ... SALINE ... PERRY ... JACKSON ... WHITE ... WABASH ... EDWARDS ... PERRY ... WILLIAMSON ... WAYNE ... GALLATIN
