On July 27-29, 2018 Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will be in town at the Solberg Airport. The Readington Township Police Department is committed to managing any issues related to the balloon festival while at the same time handling all requests for service throughout the township. Residents should expect heavy traffic and delays during peak times, such as just prior to and immediately after mass balloon ascensions and immediately after closing.
Patrons attending the balloon festival should use Route 637 to Forty Oaks Road and Route 620 to Thor Solberg Road for general parking. Local resident should try and avoid these areas due to heavy volume of traffic throughout the weekend.
