The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
July 23rd
1138 Hours: Officer Jackman investigated a non-injury auto accident on Cedar Boulevard at Lafayette Avenue.
1200 Hours: Officer Wilkerson Investigated a theft of a license plate on the 7400 block of Mowry Avenue.
1907 Hours: Officer Jackman investigated two separate grab and run thefts from Home Depot, 5401 Thornton Avenue.
