Heat Advisory until 09:00PM Wednesday
The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Heat Advisory, which is in effect from noon Tuesday to 9 PM PDT Wednesday.
* Temperatures...Daytime highs in the upper 90s to around 110 degrees with overnight lows in the 70s to low 80s in affected areas.
* Timing...Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with limited cooling overnight.
* Impacts...Prolonged heat exposure could exacerbate existing conditions and/or cause heat illness in both healthy and vulnerable populations.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MOUNTAINS OF SAN BENITO COUNTY AND INTERIOR MONTEREY COUNTY INCLUDING PINNACLES NATIONAL PARK ... EAST BAY HILLS AND THE DIABLO RANGE ... SOUTHERN SALINAS VALLEY/ARROYO SECO AND LAKE SAN ANTONIO ... SANTA LUCIA MOUNTAINS AND LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST
