Larkspur, CA – July 20, 2018. Two Alameda County men were arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle and other charges.

On Thursday evening the Central Marin Police were called about two men who jumped the fence of a closed business in the 5000 block of Paradise Drive in Corte Madera. The employee reported the two men were associated with a white panel truck parked in the business parking lot and the suspects told the employee they had just stole items from a drug store. When the two suspects fled the business, they caused damage to the business’ fence. It was believed the white panel truck was an unreported stolen vehicle, which was later confirmed as stolen. Officers located one of the suspects, who was identified as Casey Moore of Oakland, CA. Moore was in possession of composite knuckles which is a felony.

Moore was booked at the Marin County Jail for an outside agency felony warrant, vandalism, trespassing, weapons charge, and possession of burglary tools. While at the Marin County Jail it was discovered Moore had concealed drugs on his person and he was charged with a felony for bringing a controlled substance in a detention facility.

Early Friday morning, approximately four hours after the initial call regarding the two suspects, another business in the 5000 block of Paradise Drive called CMPA regarding a male suspect who went over the business fence into their lot. With the assistance of the Marin County Sheriff’s Department and the Novato Police K-9 Unit, the suspect was apprehended without incident. The suspect matched the description as the second suspect of the earlier incident and he was identified as Nikolas Sandevski out of Berkeley, CA. Sandevski was booked at the Marin County Jail for burglary, vandalism, and trespassing.

Charges for possession of a stolen vehicle were added later for Moore and Sandevski.
