In February 2015, Savannah, a Texas girl who made hundreds of handmade thank-you cards for Law Enforcement Officers after two officers were slain in Brooklyn and got the chance to meet some of her New York heroes in person.

Savannah, 10, at the time, of Tyler, Texas, made about 200 cards for New York officers and hundreds of others for police throughout Texas following the deaths of Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, EOW: December 20, 2014, which The Blue Alert System was Named after the Fallen Officers.

“My goal is to tell as many police officers as I can that I love them and that I am thankful for all that they do,” Savannah said.

Savannah, Also has a Shirt that Says, "They Matter to Me"

She also wants to become an Law Enforcement Officer, Not just an Officer, but a K9 Handler. She says, Not If, But "When I become an Officer", from A Very Determined young Savannah.


Savannah also loves to collect Police Patches, Pins, Challenge Coins and Hats from every Agency that she can.
