To all North Brunswick Taxpayers:
This notice is to inform you of a delay in the mailing of the property tax bills for the 3rd and 4th quarter 2018.
The State of New Jersey budget delay slowed the certification by the counties because the Department of Community Affairs must determine the amount of state aid to be sent to each municipality and school district.
The Department of Community Affairs is waiting on the State Department of Education to determine the final adjusted school levy. Once the certified rates are received, the billing process will start.
Although the August quarter is still technically due August 1, 2018, there will be a grace period extended. The extended date will be noted on the bill. It is not yet determined.
