* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for... Hudson County in northeastern New Jersey... Eastern Union County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Bergen County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Essex County in northeastern New Jersey... Southern Westchester County in southeastern New York... Queens County in southeastern New York... Richmond County in southeastern New York... Bronx County in southeastern New York... Kings County in southeastern New York... New York (Manhattan) County in southeastern New York...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 240 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a line of thunderstorms moving quickly east across the advisory area. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Yonkers, Elizabeth, Flatbush, New Rochelle, Flushing, Bayonne, Mott Haven, Hoboken, East Tremont, Hackensack, Bergenfield and Lyndhurst.
