Palo Alto, CA – The Department just released a new recruitment video that will give the public as well as prospective applicants a unique glimpse into our officers.
A professional baseball player, a lawyer, a high school teacher, a mechanic… this is what some of our officers used to be before becoming a Palo Alto Police Officer. The video features 10 of our officers from a variety of backgrounds who all turned to a career in law enforcement.
It was a conscious choice to share the diverse life experiences of our officers because the Department wanted to showcase the people behind the badge, and encourage others with diverse backgrounds to consider a career with the Palo Alto Police Department.
