Beginning next week, Monday, 07/16, Mills St. will be completely resurfaced. The company performing the work is shooting to have the entirety of Mills St. and several smaller sections of Early St. paved in one day, Monday 07/16. As a result, no parking will be in effect for the entire length of Mills St. on Monday. Please heed the no parking signs as this will help to speed the process along and keep the paving to the one day. The roadway would be reopened the same day, likely in the early evening. The company is then moving to Washington Ave. to begin paving that roadway and surrounding milled side streets on Tues and Wed., 07/17 and 07/18. The schedule is dependent on the crew's progress on Monday, and also any inclement weather next week. The Town and the Morristown Police Dept. greatly appreciates your patience and cooperation during this project, as we near the completion.
