On Tuesday, August 7 from 6 - 9 p.m., neighbors throughout Los Altos are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 35^th Annual National Night Out anti-crime and drug prevention event.

National Night Out is designed to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
• Generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and community-police relations
• Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back

Register Your Neighborhood Event by July 23

National Night Out provides an amazing opportunity to build neighborhood unity and strengthen police-community partnerships. Residents are encouraged to celebrate National Night Out by gathering with neighbors and the men and women of the Los Altos Police Department. Many neighborhoods celebrate this annual event with block parties, BBQs, ice cream socials or potlucks.

Be sure to register your neighborhood event by Monday, July 23, 2018 so we can make plans to stop by.
