Sheriff’s Financial Crimes Unit Thwarts Identity Theft Scheme
What: The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit – working in partnership with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office – has arrested two men suspected of an identity theft scheme that targeted hundreds of thousands of dollars from a local bank.
