Police Release Sketch; Need Help Identifying Apartment Burglar

Palo Alto, CA – Police are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a man who was caught burglarizing an apartment by a resident last weekend. The suspect pushed the resident, fled, and remains at large.

On Saturday, June 30, 2018, our 24-hour dispatch center received a call reporting an interrupted burglary at an apartment in the 300 block of Curtner Avenue. The investigation revealed a female resident came home and found a male suspect rummaging through her belongings. As he was running away, he shoved the resident into a wall, causing her to fall.

The female victim in the case met with a police artist July 5, resulting in a sketch of the suspect. She described him as a white male in his late teens to early twenties, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds.
