  Northeastern Henderson County in western North Carolina...
  Northwestern Polk County in western North Carolina...
  Southeastern Buncombe County in western North Carolina...

* Until 145 PM EDT.

* At 1258 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles east of
  Downtown Asheville, or 4 miles north of Bat Cave, moving south at
  15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fairview In Buncombe County, Chimney Rock State Park, Bat Cave,
  Dana, Gerton, Edneyville, Lake Adger, Mill Spring, Hendersonville
  and East Flat Rock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
