Public Health has issued a heat alert for the SGV. San Marino does not have a dedicated cooling center.
Public Health has issued a heat alert for the San Gabriel Valley for Friday July 6 - Sunday July 8. Please be advised that San Marino does not have a dedicated cooling center.
However, if an air conditioned area is needed by residents, the Crowell Public Library will be open, Friday and Saturday 10am until 5pm. Sunday 1pm until 5pm.
Please pay special attention to our elderly residents, young children, and those who do not have air conditioners.
Also make sure your pets have plenty of cool drinking water and NEVER leave your pet inside your vehicle. Even with the windows slightly open, temperatures can quickly reach fatal levels.
Instructions:
Promptly call the Police Department for any heat related emergencies.
