June 25th

Auto Burglary – Nations, 6060 Central Ave:
Between 0750 and 0810 hours, an unknown suspect broke the driver side rear window of the victim’s vehicle and stole two bags containing two computers and miscellaneous electronics.

Auto Burglary – 10944 San Pablo Ave:
Between 6/22/18 at 1830 hours and 6/25/18 at 0920 hours, an unknown suspect punched the lock on the driver’s side door and stole tools.

Warrant – 11965 San Pablo Ave:
At 1008 hours, an officer on bike patrol conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 30-year-old man from Antioch on a Contra Costa County warrant. The man was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Shoplifting, Resist/Delay an Officer – Dollar Tree, 11555 San Pablo Ave:
At 1226 hours, an officer responded to a theft at Dollar Tree. Upon arrival, officers learned a 43-year-old male suspect consumed food inside the store and then proceeded to knock items off the shelves when asked to leave. The suspect fled from responding officers but was taken into custody in a nearby neighborhood. He was booked at the ECPD and then released on a citation.

Warrant – I-80 / Cutting Blvd:
At 1634 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop arrested a 25-year-old man from Richmond on a Vacaville warrant. He was cited in the field.

Armed Robbery – Chipotle, 9901 San Pablo Ave:
At 1710 hours, the unknown suspect entered the business and placed an order. When the employee opened the cash register, the suspect stepped around the counter, and lifted his shirt displaying a black handgun. The suspect took cash and fled through the parking lot and northbound on Carlson Blvd.

Stolen license plates – 6900 block of Fairmount Ave:
At 1800 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect removed the license plates from the victim’s mailbox.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Conlon Avenue:
At 0022 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the passenger, a 43-year-old male from Richmond, for an outstanding warrant. The male was booked then taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Stolen Vehicle: 11200 block of San Pablo Avenue:
At 0006 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect gained access to several sets of keys and then removed two vehicles from the parking lot.

Possession of a Controlled Substance, Obstruction and Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Madison Ave:
At 0155 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the occupants, a 22-year-old female from Oakland, a 25-year-old male from Rodeo, and a 27-year-old male from Oakland. The female was arrested for disobeying an officer’s orders. The 25-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant, and the 27-year-old male was arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance. The female and 27-year-old male were released on a citation. The 25-year-old male was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

June 26th

Auto Burglary – Peets, 9895 San Pablo Ave:
At 0555 hours, an unknown suspect broke the front passenger window of the victim vehicle and stole the victim’s purse and phone.

Grand Theft – 600 block Albemarle St:
From 6/18/18 to 6/19/18, the victim received a call from someone claiming to be from Apple support. The victim gave the caller remote access to her computer, and the suspect proceeded to convince the victim to provide $7500 worth of Google play cards to retrieve and protect her personal identifying information.

Residential Burglary – 700 block Pomona Ave:
Between 0900 and 1635 hours, an unknown suspect broke a rear window to gain entry into the residence and then stole electronics and a coin collection.

Evading an Officer – San Pablo Ave and Schmidt Lane:
At 2009 hours, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. As the officer turned around to get behind the vehicle, the vehicle accelerated away from the officer. The officer engaged in a short pursuit but terminated the pursuit for public safety reasons.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Wall Avenue:
At 0153 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver, a 62-year-old male from Richmond, for an outstanding warrant. The male was booked and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

June 27th

Trespassing – 10296 San Pablo Ave:
At 0922 hours, an officer was flagged down regarding an open door. Officers searched the interior of the vacant building and located a 43-year-old male transient inside. He was placed under citizen’s arrest, booked at the ECPD, and then released on a citation.

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / Schmidt Ln:
At 1010 hours, an officer spotted a 32-year-old female from Richmond and knew she had a warrant. The female was also identified as being a suspect in a robbery that had occurred in El Cerrito in May of 2018. The female was arrested on the warrant and the robbery charge and then transported directly to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Failure to Obey Officer – San Pablo Ave / MacDonald Ave:
At 1608 hours, an officer attempted a traffic stop on a red Toyota Corolla. The driver of the Toyota immediately accelerated away northbound on San Pablo Ave. A pursuit was initiated due to traffic conditions.

Under the influence of a controlled substance in public:
At 0019 hours, an officer responded to a report of a male who was watching an item burn. An officer arrived in the area and located the male, a 39-year-old male from El Sobrante. During the contact, the male displayed objective signs of being under the influence. The male was taken into custody and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

June 28th

Vandalism-7200 Block of Moeser Ln.
An officer reported an unknown suspect spray painted several areas of the business. The incident occurred in between 6/27@1400 and 6/28@ 0730 hours.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery-11299 San Pablo Ave.
At 1029 hours, an officer located the victim’s motorcycle unoccupied. The motorcycle was reported stolen to the Berkeley PD on 6/26/18.

Vandalism – 6800 block of Fairmount Ave:
At 1801 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect punctured and flattened the victim’s tires. The time of occurrence was 0541 hours to 1600 hours.

June 29th

Domestic Battery – 8300 block of Kent Ct.
At approximately 0850 hours, an officer arrested a 27-year-old male for hitting his girlfriend during an argument at their residence. The man was booked and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Auto Burglary – 2300 block of Tamalpais Ave.
Sometime between 0000-0630 hours, an unknown suspect shattered the rear driver side window to the victim’s BMW and stole a MacBook Pro, IPad, and other miscellaneous items.

Attempted Auto Burglary – 7000 block of Cutting Blvd.
Sometime between June 28th at 1800 hours and June 29th at 0800 hours, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked black Mercedes but did not take anything.

Theft from Vehicle – 6300 block of Lagunitas Ave.
At approximately 0256 hours, a suspect entered the victim’s unlocked VW station wagon, rummaged through the vehicle but did not take any items. A second suspect entered the victim's other unlocked VW station wagon through an opened sunroof and stole $20.00 in miscellaneous change.

Auto Burglary – 2500 block of Tamalpais Ave.
Sometime between 2200 hours on June 28th to 0900 hours on June 29th, an unknown suspect shattered the front passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle and stole $5.00 in change.

Warrant Arrest – CVS 10650 San Pablo Ave.
At approximately 1013 hours, officers responded to CVS for suspicious persons attempting to steal. Officers contacted a 33-year-old female from Vallejo inside the store concealing items. The female had a $35k warrant out of Contra Costa County for her arrest. The female was arrested, booked at the El Cerrito Police Department, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave at Schmidt Lane
At approximately 1238 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver, a 30-year-old male from Richmond, for a $35K warrant out of Contra Costa County. The male was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary – 1600 block of Everett St.
Sometime between 1030 – 1340 hours, an unknown suspect gained entry into the residence by removing the window screen from an open kitchen window. The suspects vandalized and ransacked the interior of the home. The suspects stole two MacBook Pros, a MacBook Air and $200.00 cash.

Vandalism – 5324 Cypress Ave St. Peter CME Church
Sometime between 1630 hours on June 28th to 0745 hours on June 29th, an unknown suspect spray painted the front doors and the front sign of the church.

Shoplifting – 10650 San Pablo Ave:
At 1847 hours, an officer reports two unknown suspects left the business carrying a red CVS basket containing merchandise from Marshall’s. The suspects were last seen headed towards Marshall’s.

Residential Burglary – 1700 block of Wesley Ave:
At 1840 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the home by removing a screen and entering through a window. A firearm was stolen from the residence.

Auto Burglary – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 2030 hours, an unknown suspect shattered the rear passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle and removed the victim’s purse.

Auto Burglary – 6009 Potrero Ave:
At 2033 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke a window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a duffle bag containing clothing.

DUI and Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Blake St:
At 0220 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 54-year-old male from Oakland for DUI and an outstanding warrant from Oakland. The male was booked and then released on a citation.

Warrant Arrest – 11344 San Pablo Ave, Dennys:
At 2033 hours, an officer was dispatched to an unwanted person at the business. Upon arrival, the officer contacted a 48-year-old male and discovered he had an outstanding out for his arrest. The male was booked and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

June 30th

Possession of a Controlled Substance and Warrant Arrest – Cutting Blvd and I-80
At 0035 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the passenger, a 36-year-old female from Richmond, for being in possession of a controlled substance, and an outstanding warrant. The female was booked and then released on a citation.

July 1st

Warrant Arrest, Poss. of a Controlled. Subs., Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia., False info to a Police Officer – San Pablo Ave and Conlon Ave:
At 2103 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 50-year-old male from Hercules, for being possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, giving a false name to a police officer, and several outstanding warrants. The male was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Obstruction, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Burglary Tools – 11780 San Pablo Ave:
At 0002 hours, an officer attempted to conduct a bicycle stop on a 29-year-old male from San Pablo. The male tried to evade the officer but was stopped by another officer a short time later. The male was in possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. The male was booked and then released on a citation.

July 2nd

Warrant Arrest – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 2252 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 39-year-old female from Richmond for two outstanding warrants. The female was booked and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
