Theft of Property Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Joseph Simon Porter, 38, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with two counts of third degree theft of property, which is a felony,” investigator Will Farley said.
Porter allegedly stole a total of 15 golf clubs, valued at approximately $1,950, from two victims. The stolen clubs were taken from the Gadsden Country Club.
Porter was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $3,000 bond.
