This weekend, over 35 vehicles were burglarized over Saturday and Sunday nights in North Berkeley.  As our investigators continue their investigation into the burglaries, we asking residents in the area to check their security video surveillance recordings to see if they may have any information that can assist us.
 
While some of the burglaries involved a suspects gaining entry after breaking a window, some of burglars were able to get into vehicles through an unlocked door or window.  The Berkeley Police Department encourages people to remember to secure their vehicles and not leave any valuable items visible inside.  If possible, consider parking your vehicle inside your garage or in a well-lit area.
