Suspect flees traffic stop and casues injury traffic collision (6/24/18) 
On June 24th, at approximately 11:10 PM, Culver City Police Department Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Challenger that was travelling at a high rate of speed in the area of La Cienega Blvd. and Venice Blvd. While the officers were approaching the vehicle on foot, the vehicle suddenly drove off at a high rate of speed. Moments later, while the officers were attempting to catch up to the Challenger, the driver (Aaron Jackson) ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Venice Blvd. and Fairfax Ave.
Aaron Jackson, the driver of the Challenger, and the driver of the other vehicle both sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were both transported to local hospitals for treatment. Felony charges will be sought against Aaron Jackson.
The Los Angeles Police Department is handling the traffic collision investigation.
