**Fireworks violations could cost you up to $1500**

We all LOVE a good fireworks show and recognize them as an important part of our 4th of July celebrations.
We also love our open spaces, our homes, our pets, and our first responders.
Fireworks have resulted in brush fires, lost homes, missing pets, and 7,800 ER treated injuries between June 18-July 18 2016 (Source: Insurance Journal).
Our hills are dry and every illegal firework poses a threat to our community. Think of your family, friends, neighbors, and pets.
The City of Morgan Hill partners with the I.D.C. - Independence Day Celebration Inc. to bring you a beautiful and FREE Fireworks show at the Outdoor Sports Complex from 6-10pm on July 4, 2018, please join us.
Illegally obtained fireworks and Safe and Sane fireworks purchased legally elsewhere are still illegal in the City of Morgan Hill and will result in the following fines.

Between July 1-7 and between December 30-January 2 each year FINES WILL TRIPLE...................
1st violation is $300, 2nd violation is $600, and 3rd violation is $1,500.
