The NWS has issued a HEAT ADVISORY for the City of St. Louis from 11 AM Th 6/28/18 through 10 PM Sun 6/30/18. 
HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THURSDAY TO 10 PM CDT SATURDAY...
The National Weather Service in Saint Louis has issued a Heat
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM Thursday to 10 PM CDT
Saturday. The Excessive Heat Watch is no longer in effect.
* TIMING...Heat index values of 105 and higher are likely during
the late morning through early evening Thursday through
Saturday.
* HEAT INDEX VALUES...Up to 109 are expected due to temperature
in the upper 90s, and dewpoints in the lower 70s.
* IMPACTS...The likely combination of hot temperatures and high
humidity will lead to an increased risk of heat-related stress
and illness. The very young, the elderly, those without air
conditioning, and those participating in strenuous outdoor
activities will be the most susceptible. Also, car interiors
can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures and high
humidity will occur. This combination will create a situation in
which heat-related illnesses are possible, especially for those
living in un-air conditioned homes or apartments. People in the
Advisory area are advised to avoid poorly ventilated areas and
prolonged work in the sun. Also, keep plenty of liquids on hand
and try to stay in an air conditioned environment.
