The NWS has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for the City of ST. Louis until 10 PM 6/26/18 #stlwx
Thunderstorms are likely roughly along and south of Interstate 70
in Missouri and Interstate 64 in Illinois. Some of the storms may
be severe, particularly early this evening across parts of
southeast Missouri. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary
threats from these storms.
Heavy rainfall is also possible with these thunderstorms and
could pose a flash flood risk across portions of east-central and
southeast Missouri.

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
