Vehicle Burglaries on the Rise
The Criminal Investigations Division of the Jackson Police Department has seen an increase in vehicle burglaries over the past month. Because of the increase in criminal activity, Investigators of the Jackson Police Department want to remind all citizens to take a moment and lock vehicles.
According to the Investigations Division, most of the vehicles that were entered were unlocked. Therefore, Jackson Police are urging all citizens to keep valuables out of sight of potential or would be thieves. If you are traveling or are on vacation, take a moment and lock vehicles.
Jackson, it takes a community working together to keep each other safe. If this community fails at working together, criminals win. So, let us work together and make Jackson a better city.
