* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Sioux County in northwestern Iowa... Western Plymouth County in northwestern Iowa... Northern Dixon County in northeastern Nebraska... Southeastern Clay County in southeastern South Dakota... Union County in southeastern South Dakota...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 753 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Vermillion, Hawarden, Elk Point, Akron, Alcester, Ireton, Jefferson, Newcastle, Maurice, Craig, Maskell, Union Grove State Park, Ponca State Park, Brunsville, Westfield and Chatsworth.

* AFFECTED AREAS: PLYMOUTH ... SIOUX
