...The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a flood warning for the following rivers in West Virginia... Opequon Creek near Martinsburg affecting Berkeley and Jefferson Counties The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a

* Flood Warning for The Opequon Creek near Martinsburg.

* From this morning until late tonight.

* At 4 AM Saturday the stage was 9.2 feet and rising.

* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this morning and crest near 10.5 feet by mid-afternoon today. The river will fall below flood stage by late this evening.

* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Water begins to cover backyards of homes on Bowers Road (County Road 1/1). Douglas Grove Road (County Road 9/16) is flooded and impassible. Water also approaches Golf Course Road (County Road 36) and Grapevine Road (County Road 9/14).
