Today was declared Travis Air Force Base Day by City of Fairfield Mayor Harry Price. Mayor Price began the presentation to Col. Klein, Mrs. Klein and Chief Master Sgt. Nichols during tonights City Council Meeting. Mayor Price read into the official record a declaration celebrating the great partnership and community connection with Travis Air Force Base as the base celebrates 75 years of operation.
During the presentation Chief of Police Randy Fenn presented Col. Klein with a unique anniversary badge honoring the 75th anniversary of the base. The badge is encased in Lucite for presentation and bares the unique emblem created to celebrate the anniversary.
Congratulations to Travis Air Force Base and a heart felt thank you for the many years of community support and partnership.
