Three members of the Fairfield Police Activity League received scholarships tonight during the Fairfield City Council meeting. The Solano County BAR Association presented scholarships to the recipients based on their submissions of an essay. The essays were each based on books provided by the BAR Association. At tonights council meeting each student made a brief presentation regarding their report and what the book meant to them.
The attached photograph depicts the PAL members: Rudy Navarro, Samuel Martinez and Joseph Pantoja. The members are joined by PAL Executive Board President Matt Ruben as well as Executive Director Sgt. Troy Oviatt. Additonally in attendance are representatives of the Solano County BAR Association.
Congratulations to Rudy, Samuel and Joseph on the outstanding accomplishment and the public speaking presentation of each young leader. Thank you to the Solano County BAR Association for their support of the Fairfield Police Activity League and their interest in the youth of our community.
