UPDATE: Detectives seek information about the identity of the suspect involved in a Murder in Victorville

INCIDENT: Attempted Murder - UPDATE Murder Investigation
LOCATION: 15400 block of Sixth Street, Victorville
SUSPECT: Unknown Hispanic male, approximately 18-20 years old
VICTIM: Terrell Gant, age 38 a resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: UPDATE: June 19, 2018
On Monday, June 18, 2018, at approximately 8:43 pm, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division-Homicide Detail have assumed the investigation. The investigation is ongoing, the motive for the shooting is unknown.

On June 13, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 15400 block of Sixth Street for a man who had been shot.
Upon arrival, deputies located the 38-year old male victim on the ground and unresponsive. The victim had been shot one time in the face. Deputies and emergency medical personnel administered life saving measures at the scene. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and subsequently air lifted to a nearby trauma center, where he is listed in critical condition.
Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male, approximately 18-20 years old, thin build and approximately 5’10” tall. He was wearing a white shirt and dark colored pants or long shorts, a blue bandana and a hat. The suspect may have left the scene in a dark colored compact sedan, occupied by several other people.
