The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community.
June 18th
0045 Hours: Officer Slavazza seized the license plate off a vehicle for false registration on the 8200 block of Gateway Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
1426 Hours: Officer Wallace contacted and arrested a 40-year-old transient female for her outstanding warrant during a pedestrian stop on Newark Boulevard at SR-84. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.
1548 Hours: Officer Wallace investigated an auto burglary on the 35100 block of Newark Boulevard. The loss is a purse containing cash.
1907 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated an auto burglary on the 5600 block of Mowry Avenue. The loss is a laptop computer and suitcase.
2154 Hours: Officer Riddles investigated three auto burglaries on the 5600 block of Mowry School Road. The loss is backpacks and a purse.
