Sheriff’s Office Seeking Sex Offender and Domestic Violence Suspect Who Fled Traffic Stop 
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help with locating two wanted men who fled from deputies after a traffic stop on Sunday night.
Tajiri Wilson (DOB 11/12/93, SPN 02548231) had a prior outstanding felony warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and is now charged with escape. Vondregus Rooks, also known as Vondregus Stigler, (DOB 11/5/94, SPN 02607403) had a prior outstanding felony warrant for assault of a family member and is now charged with evading arrest.
A sheriff’s deputy was on patrol just before midnight Sunday when he stopped a 2005 Jeep Patriot for running a red light at Lee Road and Aldine Bender in northeast Harris County. The driver, later identified as Rooks, immediately fled on foot. The deputy then identified Wilson, a passenger in the vehicle, as having an open warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and placed Wilson in handcuffs. A third passenger, identified as an adult female, was not arrested.
Wilson escaped from the deputy on foot before the deputy was able to place him inside his patrol vehicle. A search was conducted, but deputies were unable to locate either suspect.
