Cooling Center 
Due to the power outage affecting South River and today’s high temperatures, a cooling center has been opened at 55 Reid Street (South River Human Services Building).
For those without transportation to the location, arrangements can be made. Anyone needing to use the cooling center can contact South River Police dispatch at 732-238-1000.
Residents are reminded to take the proper hot weather precautions and check on elderly neighbors and relatives as well as those with health problems. Report any emergencies by dialing 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, please call 733-238-1000.
