1 Injured in Crash

Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 06/13/18 at approximately 1912 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on 96th Ave near Lawrence Rd in Volinia Township, Cass County Michigan. 25 yr old, Resident of Kalamazoo, MI, Ruth-Ann Geraldine Vermeulen, was driving in the Eastbound lane on 96th Ave when the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to go off the roadway into a ditch and strike a utility pole.
The driver, Vermeulen was transported by Pride Care ambulance to Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw for minor injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
