Victim Of Shooting In 600 Block Of E Travis Bl Identified

The victim in this shooting has been identified as 39-year old Melvin Moore of Fairfield.  Through the investigation, detectives have learned that Moore and the suspect had been in an argument in the parking lot just prior to the shooting.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department's Investigations Bureau at 707-428-7600.

On June 9th at 10:30 pm the Fairfield Police Department responded to an apartment complex in the 600 block of E. Travis Bl regarding a shooting that had just occurred.  Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year old male victim who had been shot and subsequently died.  Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
