Seven (7) days remain to prepare for REA's annual peak season. Begin now to recognize and adopt routines that reduce electricity use during announced peaks. Peaks occur during the hours 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily (except July 4th and Labor Day) between the dates of June 20 - September 9.
Combining our efforts to reduce air conditioning (unless essential to health or safety) and appliance use during Peak Hours lessens the cost of power for all. As a member-owned cooperative, we benefit collectively by every dollar saved.
