The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
June 12th
1320 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated a vehicle burglary on the 6200 block of Jarvis Avenue. The loss is a laptop computer and miscellaneous electronics.
1846 Hours: Officer Riddles investigated a non-injury traffic collision that occurred near the intersection of Cedar Boulevard and Mowry Avenue.
2053 Hours: Officer Geser investigated an auto burglary on the 34900 block of Newark Boulevard. The loss is a laptop computer.
2200 Hours: Officer Riddles investigated an auto burglary on the 39100 block of Cedar Boulevard. The loss is a laptop computer.
2205 Hours: Officer Herbert investigated an auto burglary on the 34900 block of Cedar Boulevard. The loss is two laptop computers.
2224 Hours: Officer Riddles investigated a credit fraud case on the 37100 block of Arden Street.The victims Social Security number was used to obtain credit accounts that have now gone to collections.
