The public's assistance is needed in identifying a suspect in a hit and run traffic collision

INCIDENT: Felony Hit and Run Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Baseline Street & Church Avenue, Highland
SUSPECT(S): Unidentified at this time
VICTIM(S): Confidential - 82 year old female
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, June 9, 2018, at approximately 7:00 am, deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to Baseline Street & Church Avenue in the city of Highland for a traffic collision involving a pedestrian. Upon arriving, deputies found the victim lying in the cross walk at the intersection. The victim sustained several injuries from the incident including multiple contusions, abrasions, and a possible broken hip. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Highland Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect that left the scene. We are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision and can provide additional information on the driver and/or the suspect’s vehicle.
