Press Release: Residential Burglary Suspects

DATE: May 19, 2018
LOCATION: 500 block Clauser Drive, Milpitas, CA 95035
CASE #: 18-139-093
SUSPECT #1: Unknown male, 20-25 years-old
SUSPECT #2: Unknown female

On Saturday, May 19, 2018 at approximately 3:30 PM, Milpitas Police officers responded to a reported residential burglary on the 500 block of Clauser Drive. The resident heard the doorbell and ignored it because they were not expecting anyone. A few minutes later, the resident heard voices inside the home and found the unknown male and female in a hallway. Both suspects fled from the house before they could take anything. Officers discovered the front door was forced open.

The male suspect is described as being 20-25 years old and last seen wearing what appears to be a white track suit and a dark colored hat with a red colored flat bill. The female suspect was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with a print on the front, blue jeans, and black shoes.

As we move to the summer months and warmer weather, we would like to remind our citizen’s to keep their windows and doors secured and locked, keep garage doors closed, consider installing an alarm and/or security cameras, and most importantly get to know your neighbors; which may help reduce your home as a potential target for criminals.

The Milpitas Police is seeking assistance from the public in identifying these two suspects. If you have any information regarding this burglary investigation; then you are encouraged to call the Milpitas Police Department at (408) 586-2400. Additionally, the information can be given anonymously by calling the Crime Tip Hotline at (408) 586-2500 or via the Milpitas Police Department website at: http://www.ci.milpitas.ca.gov/crimetip
