Beginning June 7th, PG&E will be doing pipeline construction on St. Mary's Road between Rheem Blvd in Moraga and S. Lucille Lane in Lafayette. The road will be closed Monday-Saturday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. This is a hard closure to enable the contractors to complete the work in 60 days and reopening the road before school is back in session.

Some accommodations will be made for local traffic to get to their residences in the affected areas. However, this does not include traveling from one side to the other (i.e. from Rheem to a location on the other side of the closure). PG&E will be providing updates to affected residents. Additionally, PG&E and the contractor are working with both police and fire to expedite emergency responses into the area, if needed.

Detours around the closure are clearly marked with signs and electronic message boards.
