Community

Please join us for our Community Awareness Meeting Tonight

In our ongoing effort to engage the community and maintain an open dialogue with residents, we are encouraging everyone to attend tonight’s Community Awareness Meeting at the Divine Temple Church at 425 Cherry St tonight at 5:30 PM.

Community Awareness Meetings are designed for all residents to engage officers, command staff, and Chief Andrew Smith with concerns, issues, and questions facing our neighborhoods. Equally as important, it gives officers a chance to have conversations with residents when they are not investigating an incident. We believe that maintaining an open dialogue is the key to developing community trust and working together to make the community a safe and enjoyable place to live.

At tonight’s meeting, we will be discussing the upcoming “Bring Your Own 5” basketball games (starting June 30th) , the upcoming soccer match with the Hispanic Community (Starting June 30th) , our safe parks initiative (starting June 12th) and an update on crime statistics and issues facing our neighborhoods.
We hope to see you there
