Sun Prairie Police Dept. asking public’s help preventing theft and burglaries

The Sun Prairie Police Department is urging members of our community to keep their vehicles locked when they are not occupied. Multiple reports of recent thefts from vehicles have been received within the City of Sun Prairie.
We urge you not to leave your vehicle unlocked at any time. Please make sure to remove any valuables from your vehicles such as keys, money, purses, wallets, electronic goods, etc.
We urge you to make sure all of your doors and windows are locked at your residence, especially when you are not home.
We also ask you to report any suspicious activity, whether at a residence or business. This includes persons attempting to pull on vehicle door handles, looking into windows, etc.
