NARRATIVE:
On May 31st members of the Township of Ocean Criminal Investigation Bureau conducted a drug investigation which led to four arrests. Detective Michael Legg observed a narcotics transaction in the parking lot of the Cobblestone Village shopping plaza. Detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35 and recovered 50 bags of heroin and placed three adults under arrest.

Later that same day, detectives continued their investigation and were able to identify Yasmine Sherin as the fourth subject involved in the narcotic transaction. Detective Raheem Carter and Legg located Sherin and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed she was in possession of an additional 137 bags of heroin and prescription drugs.

Sherin was charged with possessing heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of prescription legend drugs. After being processed, she was released on criminal summons pending a future court appearance. Edward Burke Jr., Veronica Burke and Valerie Wullfers were all charged with possession of heroin and wandering for the purpose to obtain narcotics. They too were processed and released on a criminal summons pending future court appearance.
