The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in... Central Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 415 PM EDT Monday.

* At 710 AM EDT, stream gauges indicate flooding is occurring on Back Creek in Berkeley County. Roads are reported closed and the stream is currently several feet above flood stage. Flooding will continue for much of the day although the stream will be falling. Some backwater flooding is possible on small tributaries due to the high water levels.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... Hedgesville, Jones Springs, Tomahawk, Glengary and Shanghai.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY

Instructions:

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
