The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Henderson County in western North Carolina... Southwestern Polk County in western North Carolina... Northeastern Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina... Northwestern Spartanburg County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 340 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles south of Hendersonville, or 6 miles northeast of Pleasant Ridge State Park, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include... Landrum, Tryon, Campobello, Saluda, Tigerville, Gowensville, North Saluda Reservoir, Tuxedo, Glassy Mountain and Pleasant Ridge State Park. HAIL...1.00IN WIND...60MPH
