Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that his Office took a motorcycle farm tractor, personal injury accident. On June 02 2018 at 5:06 pm on Dutch Settlement Street near Skyhawk Drive in Newberg Township , County of Cass. Ryan Jacob Hampton (37yrs.) and his passenger Jayme Lynn Hampton (37yrs) of Marcellus were traveling west bound Dutch Settlement Street near Skyhawk Drive. As Hampton came out of the curve there was a Case 580 tractor pulling a oversized farm implement driven by Johannes Christian DuPlessis (26yrs.) of Schoolcraft. Hampton seen this oversized load and went off the roadway to avoid hitting the tractor's implement. Upon leaving the pavement Hampton lost control of his motorcycle in the gravel. Hampton and his passenger were transported for non life threating injuries to Three Rivers Hospital. Helmets were not worn. Deputies were assisted on scene by Newberg Ambulance and Marcellus Ambulance.
