* Flood Warning for The Opequon Creek near Martinsburg.

* From late tonight until late Monday night.

* At 11 AM Saturday the stage was 7.5 feet and rising.

* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage overnight tonight and crest near 12.1 feet by early tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood stage by early Monday evening.

* Impact...At 12.5 feet...The creek is well out of its banks with lowlands nearby flooded. Golf Course Road /County Road 36/ is flooded near the Van Metre Ford Pedestrian Bridge. Fields and backyards near the creek are flooded and some residents may need to move items to higher ground. Several other roads are flooded, including Grapevine Road, Douglas Grove Road, and Paynes Ford Road. Backwater flooding is occurring on small tributaries, including Tuscarora Creek.
