Flood Warning until 03:28PM

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for... Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 915 PM EDT Saturday.

* At 916 AM EDT, reporting gauges indicate up to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen over the past six hours. Moderate rain will continue through the afternoon, with an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain expected. This will cause area creeks to surpass bankfull and eventually lead to strong rises on the main stem rivers, including the Tygart River. Some creeks that will be affected include: Mill Creek, Glady Fork, Laurel Fork, Candy Creek, Middle Fork, and Leading Creek.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Elkins, Mill Creek, Dailey, Mingo, Beverly, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Huttonsville, Harman, Pheasant Run, Monterville, Cheat Bridge, Dryfork, Glady, Helvetia, Pickens, Waneta, Bowden, Kerens and Valley Head.

* AFFECTED AREAS: POCAHONTAS ... RANDOLPH

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.
