Narrative
On June 1, 2018 approximately 7:24 PM, an officer witnessed a suspect take a victim's car by force in the parking lot of Black Bear Diner. The victim was chasing after the car and flagged down the officer. The victim told the officer the suspect was stealing the car. The officer made an investigative stop on the car and detained the suspect. The juvenile suspect was placed under arrest. The juvenile suspect was with an adult. The adult solicited the victims to allow the juvenile to test drive the car. The adult was arrested for contributing to the delinquency to a minor. Search incident to arrest revealed the juvenile was in possession of a loaded handgun.
